Lisa Gaumond»Managing Director, Joseloff Gallery

  • Degrees: B.F.A. Illustration - Hartford Art School

Lisa received her BFA in Illustration from the Hartford Art School in 1998 and had the great pleasure of creating illustrations for a variety of publications and organizations during her freelance career. For the past eight years her work has appeared on the massive, illustrated chalkboard menus at Max Downtown in Hartford. She has held various positions, from children’s book clerk at a local bookstore to stewardship and research assistant at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, before finally returning to the Hartford Art School to work as manager of the Joseloff Gallery. In her free time, Lisa enjoys terrible movies from the 1980s, riding her motorcycle, and hula-hooping. She lives along the Hop River in Andover, Connecticut with her husband Luke, her dog Molly, and a motley flock of chickens.
