ELIGIBILITY: This program is offered to high school students with a serious interest in the visual arts. Students with varying levels of experience and ability are welcome to apply.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Classes meet from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on eight consecutive Saturdays and are led by teaching
professionals. A fall and spring session
are held each year. Students select two classes for each eight-week session. Diverse offerings include figure, portrait, observational and non-traditional drawing, design, portrait painting, photography, and metal sculpture.
ELIGIBILITY: This workshop is designed for student artists in the junior and senior years
of high school who are committed to art making and the pursuit of art study at the
collegiate level. Space is limited, and admission is by recommendation of the high school art teacher.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This intensive four-week workshop focuses on drawing
and one elective studio in sculpture, illustration, photography, ceramics or video. The workshop will meet Monday through Friday, two sessions daily, from 9 a.m. until noon and 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
