Jaclyn Conley is a New Haven based artist born in Canada. She received an MFA in Studio Arts from The University of Guelph in 2004 and a BFA in Studio Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in 2002. She has participated in many recent exhibitions including Radius: Full Circle at the Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield CT, 35/25:Twenty Five Painters Under 35 at the Painting Center, NY NY and Non-Native New York, Brooklyn NY and the Bushwick Biennial in Brooklyn NY. Her work has been reviewed in the NY Times, The Brooklyn Rail, Border Crossings, and Canadian Art. Jaclyn was featured in the publication New American Paintings in 2010 and was a recipient of the Golden Foundation Fellowship in 2009. Before joining the Hartford Art School she taught at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver Canada.
