Natacha Poggio»Assistant Professor

  • Degrees: M.F.A. Design - University of Texas at Austin

Natacha Poggio is an experienced multidisciplinary designer who holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Texas at Austin. In her work she examines objects and environments with which people interact, and looks for ways to make these interactions aesthetically pleasing and functional for the greatest number of users. She believes that so automatically we perceive things through sight, sound, smell, and touch that we can easily take our senses for granted. Her design philosophy maximizes human experience; it embodies the importance of engaging multiple senses in each designed activity, to create meaningful experiences fully accessible to everyone. Designs resulting from this approach serve a wider array of people—regardless of age, race, gender, abilities, economic or educational background.
