Giving to Hartford Art School

The Hartford Art School is part of the University of Hartford that is governed by the University of Hartford Board of Regents. The Board of HAS, Inc. (a separate 501C3) oversees the management of the HAS, Inc. endowment in accordance with donor intent to advance academic and programmatic excellence of the art school.

Contributions in support of the Hartford Art School can be made to the University for the benefit of the art school and/or to HAS, Inc. by designating an existing fund listed below.

  • Ashley Kozlosky & Racheal Verdicchio-Morris Scholarship

    Established by faculty and friends in memory of Ashley Kozlosky and Racheal Verdicchio-Morris, and awarded to a student during his/her senior year of study who is majoring in Visual Communication Design or Illustration.

  • Charles J. Giambalvo Sr. Award

    Established in honor of Charles Giambalvo by his daughter, Joanne, and awarded to an art school student majoring in visual communication design or photography who plans to study abroad.

  • William Wondriska Graphic Design Awards

    Established by William Wondriska, a graphic designer and former President of HAS, Inc. to award to graphic design students of merit and to support visiting designers.

  • Woodland Systems Scholarship

    Established by an alum of the Hartford Art School to provide scholarship support to visual communication design majors with outstanding reviews and financial needs.
